Ambika flung her five-year old daughter and three-year old son into the well before ending her life by jumping into it, they said.
Ambika, wife of Srinivasan, a rig owner who often stays in North India for his work, took the extreme step when a local farmland owner allegedly attempted to rape her, police said adding, further investigation was on. No arrests have been made.
