Reliance joins hands with Radio Netherlands

An announcement in this regard was made by Reliance Communications on Thursday.
“Under the agreement, R World – the next generation mobile portal accessible to over 125 million Reliance 3G, GSM and CDMA customers, would offer 24/7 live streaming of Radio Netherlands Worldwide and will showcase its RNW WAP news feed on RWorld which includes regularly updated international news,” the company said.

The RNW contents will be available on R World at a browsing cost of 5 paise  per 10kb.
“News plays an important role in our day to day lives. Being in the know of what’s happening across the globe at push-of-a-button is essential for our customers irrespective of segments,” Reliance 3G Head Prashant Gokarn said. 

“This is the first telecom company with which we have a partner relationship. We are looking forward to many more on a global basis along with advancements in technology,” RNW’s Director General Jan Hoek said.
