Chris Chuwuemeka alias Prince, residing in Village Humaunpur in Safdarjung Enclave, was arrested yesterday from near NCC Camp and 10 gram cocaine was recovered from his possession, police said.

Prince is part of an international narcotic drugs syndicate indulging in supply of cocaine in high profile segments of the society, they said.

"Prince's name cropped up when a Nigerian national named Ekene Okeke was arrested by special cell in February. It has also been learnt that he is also absconding in a case of NDPS Act of Narcotics Branch of Delhi Police," DCP (Special Cell) Arun Kampani said.

During interrogation, Prince said he used to supply cocaine to city-based high profile people, particularly in reputed hotels, clubs and pubs.

Prince was into a live-in relationship. "The girl had met him in a party of common friends about six months ago. In fact it is she who had taken the said house on rent and was living with Prince in the house for the last three months," Kampani said.

In a separate operation, police arrested two Nigerians -- Dennis Sopuluchukwu and Azubuogu Ekene Patrick -- from Dwarka and recovered 20 gram of fine quality cocaine.

Dennis was staying in Dwarka since one-and-half years and Azubuogu had come to him from Mud Island in Mumbai.

They are ostensibly involved in garment business but are actually into drug trade especially that of cocaine, police said.
