Harendra Nagpal, 35, and Ashif, 25, were nabbed late Friday from Sadarbazar locality.
“The two were caught from a house they had hired for running the racket," Superintendent of Police (City) Prabal Pratap Singh told reporters in Meerut, some 500 km from Lucknow.
A stack of CDs that contained record of bets and information about their clients, eight mobile phones, and a TV set were recovered from their possession.
“Total bets accepted by them amount to over Rs.1 crore," police Inspector N.C. Verma said.
