Anti-party activities may cost dear to Congmen

He was speaking at a programme where the new District Congress Committee (DCC) President M L Murthy assumed the charge and a membership drive was inaugurated here on Friday. “The party strength grows if new faces are given an opportunity. The new president should emphasise on the party’s organisation,” he advised.

“If the leaders are unable to work in the party, resignation will be sought from them. Their responsibilities will be given to those who can actively involve in the party activities,” the KPCC chief said.

The party grows when there is discipline among the party leaders.

The leaders should understand that the workers are the real strength of the party. The party is not for enjoying power, rather it is for service, he           suggested.

Former minister Jayaprakash Hegde, leaders B B Ningaiah, B L Ramdas, Chandrappa, S V Manjunath, Nanjappa, Begane Ramaiah, K Mohammed and A N Mahesh were present.
