Wilson Garden grab thrilling victory

Batting first, Ranji CC were bowled out for 186 in 48.2 overs even as Arvind Reddy (76) and Thangadurai (48 n.o.) scored some valuable runs. G Pavan (4/32) and Prithvi Singh (2/35) were the pick of the bowlers for Wilson Garden CC.

In reply, Md Safi (61) stood tall and helped his team thwart Ranji CC’s attempts at stopping them from overcoming the tangible total, initially atleast. However, with right-arm medium pacer Naidu scalping four and Sarbojeet Das picking up two wickets, Wilson Garden CC were in a spot of bother but managed to scrape through in the 47th over with a wicket to spare.
