Action against encroachers sought

The members started their Jatha from Kallipur which is 6 km from Kolar by planting sapling at the gomala. The jatha culminated in deputy commissioner’s office.

They alleged that the area which was registered as gomala in the government documents, till 1985 was later sold by creating fake pahani. A conspiracy is being hatched to displace the farmers who have carried out farming activities from the past 50 years. Tahsildar had registered a complaint  with the deputy commissioner in this regard, but no action was taken, they complained.

The officials responsible for creating fake documents should be suspended and a criminal case should be registered against them. Legal action should also be initiated against land mafia, security should be provided for the Kodi Ramsandra Dalits and they should be granted land, the protesters  demanded.
