Road show launched to promote postal insurance

Every person in rural area should have a postal life insurance policy, said D L Nagaraj, president of Krishika Samaja.

He was speaking after launching a road show to create awareness among rural people and to promote postal life insurance scheme at PC layout post office premises in Kolar, recently.

Postal offices are serving the country for over 100 years and has proved its honesty in terms of returns. So, the people should not fall prey to the promotions by private companies and should buy postal life insurance policies.

Speaking on the occasion, Chitra from the Postal Circle Office said that by taking postal insurance, people can pay the amount in small installments by maintaining a pass book, and can be sure of various benefits.

Special vehicle has been arranged to promote postal life insurance scheme.

This vehicle will travel through Kolar and Chikkaballapur for five days and inspire more people to take the policy, said Manjunath, Kolar Divisional Post Officer.
