But it created more problems, he said.<br />In Hubli Corporation,there are one thousand excess drivers as those working elsewhere managed to get transfers to this division, he said.<br />The KSRTC will be recruiting four thousand drivers shortly, he said.<br />A driving training school is coming up at Hassan at a cost of rupees fifteen crore to train the drivers, he said.<br />The government had deputed an official team to Tamil Nadu to study the quantum of fee fixed for every load.<br />While Karnataka earned only rupees ten crore from sand transporters, Tamil Nadu revenues are in the range of Rs 130 crore to Rs 150 crore per annum, he said.</p>
