Share trading: C'durga youth kills self in city

A 26-year-old youth from Chitradurga committed suicide allegedly by hanging at the Chamundi Hill forest area two days ago,  has come to light on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Vishwanath S R (26) son of Raghavendra, Vasavi colony, Challakere in Chitradurga district. 

Quoting family members, K R police said Vishwanath was into share trading and had lost heavily in the same. 

He was also owing huge amounts of money to many people. Upset, he had left home a few days ago and had travelled several places like Vijayawada and Bangalore, before coming to Mysore. 

On Friday, the incident came to light with the tepid smell emanating from the forest near Gopura atop the hill.

His identity was traced with the help of cellphone and other articles found on the person.A case has been registered and investigations are on.
