Kenyan, 2 others arrested with narcotics, arms

Police said, Pappajo alias Joseph Ouma Achola (39) of Migory City in Kenyan, Aijaz Saleem (44) of Jayamahal Layout and Arol Deepak D’Mello (28) of Halasur were nabbed on a tip off with 82 grams of Cocaine and 25 grams of Hashish, whose value in the market is said to be Rs nine lakh.  The police also recovered Rs 5.85 lakh and a Nissan car worth Rs 12 lakh from them. Police also seized a German pistol, which was in the name of Aijaz’s father’s name who died ten years ago and the license was not renewed since then.

Man murdered
A dispute between two men led to a clash between their children, eventually resulting in a murder at Sarjapura on Monday morning.
Police said Muniraj (50), a resident of Kalkere lost his life in a fight with the sons of his father’s rival. He was stabbed to death by Mani and Jayaram at Billapura under Sarjapura police station limits.  
Last night, Muniraj’s father and Mani’s father had gone to a tavern where they had a fight. After returning home the fathers told their children about their fight. Next morning when the sons saw each other they had a fight and Muniraj was stabbed to death.

Pedestrian run over
A pedestrian, Parvathamma was killed when a motorist knocked her down on Monday morning on Peenya Ring Road. Although she was rushed to the hospital, she could not be saved. Peenya Traffic police registered a case of rash and negligent driving.
