The actors, who have been associated with the soap for a long time share some of their experiences. Today, we are carrying excerpts from an interview with Rajshri Thakur

You have been associated with Saat Phere for a long time. Tell us how you feel about the soap coming to an end?

Well, I have a very mixed feeling I should say, because we have been doing this show for four years now. It is like a family to us. On one hand, I am going to miss everybody but on the other, I am happy about the show going off air gracefully and in a nice way. If there is a beginning, there has to be an end. I am glad that the show has retained its popularity throughout all these years, and the channels and creatives are going to give a grand end to it.

Was it the right time for the show to end?

I am nobody to comment on this because it is a decision of the channels and the producers, and as an actor I think I don’t have the rights to comment.

Tell us about one incident that happened on the sets that you will always remember?

Well there are many. I cannot recall any specific moment but yes, when Saloni got married, my family had to cry but we were out of glycerin. But they were literally crying in real as well because they had that feeling, that Rajshri is not going to shoot with them anymore as she will be going to another studio.

What would you like to say to your crew and your fans?

I would like to thank the audience for encouraging me as an actor from my first show itself, and definitely I am going to thank my cast and crew, and the unit members who have been so supportive and encouraging. No other words than thanks thanks and thanks.
