'Naxals threaten villagers'

Naxal gang led by B G Krishnamurthy, Mudangaru Latha, Hosagadde Prabha, Srimathi and other four ladies had visited the village. When Naxals demanded rice, the villagers denied. However, Hosagadde Prabha said “you will welcome when police visit your house. We are made to stand outside the house. We know how to teach lessons for supporting police.”  Koppa DySP Abu Ahad has intensified combing in the region.  SP M N Nagaraj said “we had conducted public contact programme recently in the village. The villagers have started trusting police.”
