Wedding Asia 2012, Delhi Edition II kicked off with a grand preview by Jewellery Designer Dolly Oberoi unveiling ‘The Lotus Goddess’ – bejewelled in art of plique - ‘a – jour French enamel.

The jewellery preview that witnessed Bollywood actress Tisca Chopra and supermodel Monikonkona Dutta scorched the ramp as the show stopper was held on August 31 at Hotel Crowne Plaza.

Wedding Asia – Delhi Edition II, the three day long wedding extravaganza announced its second edition of 2012 with a Grand Preview of Dolly Oberoi’s nature inspired jewellery collection ‘The Lotus Goddess’.

The fashion show exhibited Dolly’s new collection that focuses on various forms and shapes and hues of lotus drawing, thus bringing it closer to nature. Dolly’s collection is set in 18K gold studded with diamonds and finished with myriad forms of hand enamelling showcasing handcuffs, earrings, pendant sets, cat collars and heavy bridal sets.

Among those who were seen enjoying the jewellery preview were Maninder and Anupreet Sethi (Director – Wedding Asia), Designer Dolly Oberoi, Fashion Designers Rahul and Gunjan, Sukhmani Oberoi, Donna Masih, Radhika Gupta, Rashmi Virmani, Sangeeta Kataria, Binnu Singh, Abdul Halder and many more..

After the success of the show, Maninder Sethi, Director, Wedding Asia 2012 – Delhi Edition II, said, “We are proud to launch the second edition of Wedding Asia 2012 - Delhi Edition with Dolly Oberoi, one of the known names from the world of jewelery design. The diversity and evolution in terms of design and grandeur that the luxury connoisseurs of the capital witnessed at our 1st edition in July’ 12 will draw its conclusion in our Sep’ 12 show.”
