Police to seek extension of terror suspects' custody

 City Police Commissioner B G Jyothiprakash Mirji said on Tuesday that the investigations into the recently busted terror modules were at a crucial stage and the police planned to seek extension of the custody of the suspects for interrogation.

The police custody of the 14 youths ends on Thursday. Three more suspects who were arrested later were also sent to police custody by the first Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Court. A top investigating officer said the accused were extremely intelligent and hard nuts to crack. They were trying to mislead the investigators, he said.
