Global aerospace industry meet in Bangalore from December 10

More than 100 aerospace companies from India and overseas are expected to participate in a two-day global aerospace industry meet to be held here from December 10, organisers said today.

The meet is being organised by Karnataka's Department of Commerce and Industry, through Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries, Laghu Udyog Bharti, Karnataka Udyog Mitra, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, IMS Foundation and Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The event is organised to have a get together of Indian and overseas aerospace industries and entrepreneurs and R&D personnel and provide forum for interaction for mutual collaboration with the support of state government leveraging the Defence Offset Policy, an official statement said.

There will be presentations on Karnataka's achievements and infrastructure for growth of aerospace and defence industries, government support for overseas industries and joint ventures leveraging on 'Defence Offset Policy 2012' and growth of industries in aerospace and defence networking MSMEs with major aerospace and defence industries.
There will also be presentations from overseas and Indian companies.
