The house belongs to Mahadev Jadhav in Nadigalli area of the town. All the members were sleeping when the mishap occurred. The injured are Mahadev Jadhav (50), his wife Kasturi Jadhav (43), daughter Roopali (22) and son Datta (14). They were treated at the Government Hospital.
The baby, Samarth, grandson of Mahadev Jadhav, was born in Sankeshwar. He had come along with his mother to celebrate Deepavali.
Belgaum Deputy Commissioner Dr J Ravishankar, tahsildar I M Akkiwate, Deputy Tahsildar B N Patil and others visited the spot.
