Last Updated 04 November 2009, 11:25 IST

Bhardwaj, who is here on a private visit, told reporters it would be good if the issue was resolved soon by the party and the government as the people were suffering in the aftermath of the floods.
"I am keeping a watch on the situation and I will act when it is necessary," he said when asked whether he would be taking any action on the political situation in the state.

He, however, made it clear that he had nothing to do with the situation and as Governor he could not comment on the developments.
Asked whether he was worried over the situation, Bhardwaj replied "why should I be worried". He said he was there looking after every interest of Karnataka. "It is for the party which is ruling in Karnataka to resolve the issue," he said.
