Left arm spinners Veerasammy Permaul (5/85) and Nikita Miller (4/61) bowled West Indies A into a commanding position against India A, who trailed by 314 runs overall at close of play on the third and penultimate day here Friday.

Resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 124/3, India A collapsed after Permaul trapped top-scorer Manpreet Juneja (84, 151b, 11x4), who added 75 runs for the fourth wicket with Harshad Khadiwale (27).

Thereafter, it was a regular procession as Permaul and Miller came up with a two-man act to dismiss India A for 245 to provide West Indies A a first innings lead of 184.

The visitors then stretched the lead to 314 by stumps, making 130/3 in their second essay after skipper Kieran Powell (68, 88b, 9x4, 2x6) and Kraigg Brathwaite (34) put on 112 for the first wicket before falling at the same score.
