The facebook page of the accused who reportedly posted the photographs of his girlfriend in a compromising position, has been deactivated, according to sources in Manipal police.
Meanwhile, the girl whose pictures along with her boyfriend was posted on Facebook is yet to give an undertaking to the college authorities that she will henceforth maintain “dignity and decorum” of the college. Following the controversy, she has been suspended from the college.
Poornaprajna College Principal K Sadashiv Rao told that the parents and the girl are yet to approach the college.
The mother of the girl was told on Friday on the need to give an undertaking, if at all her daughter wishes to continue her education in the same college. However, no one from her family has contacted the college authorities, he added.
