Suneel Raju's ton powers FUCC to facile victory

Suneel Raju smashed a quickfire century as Friends Union CC scored a facile 96-run win over Jawahar Sports Club in the YS Ramaswamy memorial tournament.

Riding on Raju’s 112-ball 132, Friends Union posted an imposing 330/7 from their allotted 50 overs. Chasing a daunting target, Jawahar did try to make a fist out of it, thanks largely to half-centuries from Nischal D (64) and Shishir Bhavane (55). But with no major contributions coming from others, they eventually folded up for 234 in 41.4 overs.

Naveen B was wrecker-in-chief, sclaping four for 65 while M Vinod took 3/35.
