CID to probe DCC bank case

The government has handed over to the CID the probe into the financial irregularities in the Ameer Ahmed Circle branch of the District Central Co-operative (DCC) bank.

The police said that they have received a copy of the government order, handing over the investigation to the CID.

Ramachandrappa, manager of the bank’s city branch on Balraj Urs Road, has been arrested. Shobha, the manager of the branch in question, and Nagabhushan, general manager, have already been arrested. 

The SP told Deccan Herald over phone that “we are leaving no stone unturned to collect evidences to prove the charges levelled against the 18 accused.”
