Several parts of Vijayapura district received scattered rains on Sunday, after a gap of about a month.
Rains accompanied with heavy winds lashed the town for about 30 minutes in the evening.
However, farmers fell that the showers wouldn’t be of any help for agricultural activities. According to farmers. They said that Sunday’s rain was not even adequate to save the standing crops. They expect a spell of heavy rain to take up farming activities.
