International film summit on Oct 24, 25

The 3rd edition of Rolling Frames Film Summit will be held in Bengaluru on October 24 and 25. The Summit is a learning experience for aspiring filmmakers to evolve from making short films to producing feature length films.

Of the 1000 films received – from over 51 countries in more than 40 languages – 30 selected films will be screened at the summit here. Harish Setty G R, VFX Supervisor and President, Rolling Frames Film Society said: “There are three aspects to the summit:

education, funding and exposure. As part of education, seminars, master classes and experience zones will be conducted. For funding, our programme ‘Pitching Forum’ will select potential film makers and fund their future projects.

Funding may range from thousands to crores of rupees which will be utilised for the promotion, marketing and distribution of films. For exposure, shortlisted films will be sent to Sarajevo Film Festival and Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival for screening.” Sabit Subasic, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina will preside over the summit. Prominent names in the industry will participate. The event will be held at the Manpho Convention Centre, next to Manyata Tech Park, Nagawara Ring Road.
