A sub-inspector, who facilitated the delivery of a pregnant woman near Gali Anjaneya temple in Byatarayanapura, was delighted after Home Minister G Parameshwara appreciated his efforts.
The minister appreciated the noble gesture of Gopalakrishna, a sub-inspector attached to the Byatarayanapura traffic police station.
He said that his service had brought laurels to the department and set high standards which need to be emulated by Gopalakrishna’s colleagues, a press note stated.
Upon noticing a pregnant woman collapse, Gopalakrishna rushed to her help. Along with a few women pourakarmikas, he helped her deliver a baby girl.
