DSK Benelli, which has already launched six products in India, is planning to launch at least three new models next year, according to chairman Shirish Kulkarni.

“We are planning to launch at least three new bikes by the end of 2016. These include the 500 cc TRK 502, the Full Tired 300 cc and the 500 cc  Leoncino,” DSK Benell chairman Shirish Kulkarni told Deccan Herald.

We have retailed around 975 bikes so far in the current fiscal and hope to sell totally around 2,000-odd bikes by March 2016, Kulkarni said, adding that the company plans to add at least 10 more outlets by December 2016.

As far as DSK Hyosung is concerned, Kulkarni said that the company has at least four products in the pipeline for next year. “We will be launching the facelifted GT250R and the GT650R. Besides this, the company is also looking at  developing a new 300 cruiser and a 450 cc street bike,” Kulkarni added. Meanwhile, the company has launched its most affordable bike till date, the DSK Benelli TNT 25 at a price of Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The TNT 25 is powered by a liquid cooled single cylinder, 4-stroke DOHC engine developing 28.16 Bhp at 9,800 rpm and 21.61 Nm torque at 8,000 rpm. The TNT 25 comes with two tyre options. Users can opt for either Metzeler or MRF tyres.

“DSK Benelli is committed to create a thriving superbiking culture in India. To this end, we have launched a stunning bike that is now within the reach of many, without compromising on the experience,” Kulkarni said.

For the first time ever, Benelli also introduced its new range of race inspired helmets with ‘Bellissimo Italiano’ design and safety features, keeping in mind the essential needs of the modern racer and allowing him to become one with the helmet, further enhancing his overall style and safety quotient.
