Apply online for CET from today

Candidates wanting to appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET 2016) can apply online from January 13 to February 13 on the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority - kea.kar.nic.in.

The CET is conducted for admissions to Medical, Dental, ISMH courses, Engineering, Architecture, Farm Sciences, B-Pharma and Pharm-D courses. An e-brochure describing the procedure for application is also available. KEA officials have instructed candidates to carefully fill out details as the same will be used for seat allotment and admissions and the candidate will not be allowed to change the details later.

The last date for downloading the challan and paying the fee in the bank is February 15. The admission ticket can be downloaded till April 15. The fee for the test is Rs 650 for the general candidates and 500 for those applying under the reserved categories.

For the first time, the KEA has taken the details of all the candidates pursuing second year pre-university course in the State from the Department of Pre-University Education. As soon as the candidates enter their roll numbers online, all their details will appear automatically. Candidates will have an opportunity to rectify any errors here during the process.
