Gamesa India, a leading renewable energy company, has won a 30 mW turnkey wind power project order with PTC Energy, which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of PTC India, and a leading power trading company, at Jaora in Madhya Pradesh.
This is the first order the company has signed with PTC Energy.
As per the new order, Gamesa will develop the entire infrastructure needed to operate the project, with the supply, erection and commissioning of 15 units of G97-2.0 mW T104 wind turbines specially designed for low wind sites in India.
This win is a part of the recent global announcement of order supply worth 130 mW that Gamesa has secured in India.
