Thalamaddale Sapthaha concludes

Paryaya Putthige mutt Seer Sri Sugunendratheertha presented the Matti Muralidhar Rao award to veteran “Arthadhari” Dr Prabhakar Joshi  on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, after receiving the award Dr Joshi said that the Yakshagana Academy has scores of limitations and it is a mere decorative body. Measures should be taken up to modify the academy in to a cosmetic organisation. At least a sum of Rs 5 crore every year is needed to enhance the standard of the academy in to international stature, he added.
