Beary Cultural Forum to distribute scholarships, wheelchairs and sewing machines

Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF), United Arab Emirates, will conduct a career guidance symposium, will distribute scholarships, wheelchairs and sewing machine at Loyola Hall in St Aloysius PU College campus on August 14.

BCF scholarship committee vice president M E Mooluru said a career guidance programme will be held at 9.30 am. MLA J R Lobo will inaugurate, BCF, UAE, president Dr B K Yusuf will preside, MUDA chairman Ibrahim Kodijal will deliver the keynote address, DK district Wakf Advisory Committee chairman S M Rasheed Haji, Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy president B A Muhammed Hanif and MCC commissioner Mohammed Nazir will be the chief guests.

The scholarship meet and distribution of wheelchair and sewing machines will be held at 2.30 pm. BCF chief advisor Zafarullah Khan will inaugurate, BCF president Dr B K Yusuf will preside, Yenepoya University chancellor Y Abdulla Kunhi will deliver the keynote address, Fiza Group of Companies, Bengaluru, chairman B M Farookh will take part. Meanwhile, Star of Bearys 2016 Award will be conferred on Al Muzain Co., Junail, KSA, chairman Zakariya Jokatte.

He further said that scholarships of a total amount of Rs 25 lakh will be distributed among 600 students. Around 25 wheelchairs and 25 sewing machines will also be distributed.
