The 25-strong team of top lawyers representing the Society of Indian Law Firms, will meet members of the American judiciary. Organised by the Society of Indian Law Firms in collaboration with American Bar Association, the seven-day programme is an outcome of the international legal exchange programme initiated by the American Bar Association(ABA).
Advocate and Association President Lalit Bhasin said: ‘’We look forward to this visit as an opportunity to promote and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.’’
A group of 30 US lawyers had visited the Indian Law firms last year and shared their legal insights with their Indian counterparts, said Bhasin before he left for the US on Saturday.
