The BJP on Monday released one more 'charge sheet' against the ruling Congress, bringing out a compilation of various 'scams' during the tenure of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Speaking after releasing the charge sheet, Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said, maladministration, corruption and negligence had become the "trademark" of the state government.

Javadekar, who is the party's election in-charge of Karnataka, charged that the Congress was running a "Dushyasana sarkara" in the state. (Dushyasana was the second son of the king Dhritarashtra and Gandhari and the younger brother of Duryodhana in Mahabharata). The BJP leader accused the state government of dividing society for electoral gains and weakening institutions such as the Lokayukta.

Some of the 'scams' listed by the BJP in the charge sheet include: Hublot watch worth 'Rs 70 lakh' in possession and worn by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, 'redo' fraud' for denotifying of land in Arkavathi Layout, unaccounted wealth recovered from Energy Minister D K Shivakumar during income tax raids, award of scanning lab to Siddaramaiah's son Dr Yathindra in violation of rules, misappropriation of funds in construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana among others.
