FIR against dy director Palace Board

The City police have registered an FIR against Mysuru Palace Board Deputy Director T S Subramanya and his associate Mahadevaswamy on charges of cheating, criminal conspiracy and forgery, on Tuesday.

The Saraswathipuram police have registered the FIR against Subramanya, and have arrested his associate Mahadevaswamy. The duo has allegedly tried to mar the reputation of Palace Board Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Shylendra, by levelling false allegations.

According to the police, Subramanya and Mahadevaswamy had written five anonymous letters to the District Election Officer (DEO), also Palace Board Chief Executive Officer, K B Sivakumar, accusing Shylendra of misusing his official vehicle to transport money of a political party leader, who is also a candidate in the Assembly election.

The police zeroed in on Mahadevaswamy. During investigation Mahadevaswamy has confessed to the crime and has named Subramanya. However, the police said, the department has sent a detailed report to DEO for further action.
