Shobha's return left to CM: Renukacharya

“I have nothing to say about it,” he told reporters, reacting to questions. “I am a minister now. I only think about my department and my constituency.”

Yeddyurappa was forced to drop Shobha from the Cabinet last November following pressure from a group of party men including Renukacharya.  

Asked about rape charges against former minister H Halappa, the Excise Minister said: “Halappa is my good friend. The CID is conducting an impartial probe into the case. I hope he will be exonerated of all charges soon.”
