The deceased Ashraf (36), his wife Maimuna Ashraf (26), children Ayesha Afseen (2), Ashaj Abdulla (2) and Ashraf’s brother Ahammed Naushad (30) arrived at Mangalore to attend the wedding of Ahammed Naushad.

The wedding was scheduled to be held on July 13 and the bride was from Mukkacheri. Ashraf was working in Deira Dubai and was living there along with his family.
Naushad was working in a private firm in Dubai.
In fact, the family had come to India a month ago to attend the engagement of Naushad.
In fact, the family was supposed to come to India in July. However, on the request of his mother, they had come early to make arrangement for the wedding of Naushad.

Four of a family

Five persons from Belthangady taluk including four of a family were killed in the air crash.
Mumthaz (30) and her three little daughters Muhaseena Banu (5), Ibasin (4) and Aifan (2) were in the ill-fated flight. Another Usman from Kakkinje in Belthangady was also in the same flight. Mumthaz basically hails from Bambila in Bantwal. After marrying Hasan, she was residing in Savanal. Two years ago, they had constructed a house at Maddadka and were residing there. Mumtaz’s husband Hasan is working in Dubai. She had been to Dubai to visit her husband along with the children and was returning to the native.

Another four

They had come to enroll their son to the college in Udupi district. However, all the four of a family were killed in the mishap. The deceased Ibrahim (45), his wife Sameena (39), son Isam (16) and daughter Rida (10) were in the ill fated flight to come to their native at Kirimanjeshwara at Baindur in Udupi district. Ibrahim after completing his BCom had left for Dubai 20 years ago and was working as an Accountant in a shipping company. As his son had completed SSLC in Dubai, Ibrahim wanted to join him to a college in Udupi district for his further education.

Along with the family, Niha, the couple’s sister’s daughter was also travelling in the flight and was killed. Ibrahim’s house at Kirimanjeshwar is filled with grief. His mother and brother are inconsolable.

New house done, but..

Sathish Shetty was returning to his native in Permude of Mangalore to attend the house warming ceremony of his newly built house on Sunday. Unfortunately, he did not reach the house alive. Moreover, the seemantha of his wife was scheduled to be held on June 6.
