Free eye check-up camp conducted

He was speaking after inaugurating  the free eye camp at the general hospital here on Sunday, jointly organised by the Shankar Eye Hospital, Bangalore, district Health and Family Welfare Department abnd the  local government hospital.

Eye is an important organ and people must pay attention to keeping it in good condition. They must recognise eye problem at its early stage and immediately attend free eye camp and get treated he said. Early detection would prevent further damages to eyes, he noted.
Journalist Manjalanagar Narayanaswamy presided over the function and gave a call to donate eyes and bring light to visually impaired. He also appealed for cooperation when free eye camps are organised and to make then a success.

Ophthalmologists Dr D Sampath Kumar, Dr Soumya, technician Devaraj, DR N S Murthy examined the patients at the camp. Srinivas welcomed and Venkataravana extended vote of thanks.
