Sunkara sent her 11th seed Chinese opponent Zhaoxuan Yang 6-2 7-5 to make it to the quarterfinals at the DLTA Complex here.Other Indian girls, Kyra Shroff (10th seed), Ankita Raina, Sharon Sanchana Paul), Adnya Naik and Natasha Palha failed to get past the last-eight stage.The top five seeded girls have all secured their place in the quarterfinals of the competition, which is a test event for the Commonwealth Games.
