Govt delaying caste-based census: Yadav

“The delay is damaging because the census is on,” Yadav said. He said a unanimity was reached in the Lok Sabha and statements of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Leader of the House, Pranab Mukherjee, echoed that. “If some members of the Cabinet were opposed to it, the PM should have used his prerogative to take a decision on it,” the JD(U) leader said.
