Police still clueless about minor girl's kidnapper

Police said the girl’s father had lodged a complaint alleging that the accused, Shiv Kumar, had kidnapped his daughter studying in Sarvodaya School near Reliance Fresh outlet in K R Puram on May 10.

The girl had gone to buy vegetables when the incident took place. Shiv Kumar is a mechanic in a garage. Both the families were neighbours and that is how the girl was influenced by Shiv Kumar. Police said, they had found that the girl had eloped with him. But, technically it is a kidnap case as she is a minor. Police teams visited Tamil Nadu on several occasions in search of the accused. But Shiv Kumar has managed to give them a slip each time. Shiv Kumar has left his wife in Andhra Pradesh.

Youth robbed
Satish has complained to police that he was robbed on Tuesday night at Soladevanahali, while he was riding a motorcycle. A youth stopped him and asked for a lift. Satish obliged, and after driving for some distance, the youth took out a knife, threatened Satish and forcibly took away the bike, mobile phone, and a wallet containing Rs 600 cash and other valuables.
