"Kareena is in a really good form and is like Sachin Tendulkar of Bollywood," said Rampal.
The film, produced by Karan Johar, has the 37-year-old actor playing a man torn between his ex-wife, played by Kajol, and his girlfriend Kareena.
"It was also a pleasure to work with Kajol since I have been a huge fan of her. When she got married I thought I will not get a chance to work with her but I am fortunate to share screen space with her," said Rampal.
The actor, who shares screen space with two successful actresses in the film, says he is surrounded by women both in reel and real life.
"I live in a women's world with my wife and daughters. My parents say that I am a 'ladies man'," said the actor, who was in the capital on Saturday to walk the ramp for designer Nandita Mahtani at the Blenders Pride Fashion tour.
Rampal, who had wife Mehr for company on the ramp said, "I was nervous to walk the ramp with her. But facing the camera is more difficult than walking the ramp."
