Woman found murdered

The Rajagopalnagar police identified the deceased as Parvathi, a resident of L G Ramanna Layout in Laggere. Parvathi’s husband is absconding. The police are on the look out for him.

The crime came to light around 4.30 pm, when Parvathi’s two daughters, Poornima (14) and Yashaswini (13), both studying at Max Muller School, returned home. They were shocked to see their mother lying in a pool of blood in the hall with her throat slit.

Parvathi was married to N P Krishna 18 years ago. The couple were constantly involved in fights over trivial issues. Krishna, working for a private factory in Yelahanka, was caught in a financial mess. He had also married another woman a few years ago. The second wife has a daughter. Parvathi was cut up with him and had fought over this issue, said the police.
