Para-medical staff take out protest rally

The procession started from the premises of K R Hospital, passed through main roads of the city and culminated at the deputy commissioner’s office where they submitted a memorandum. They braved intermittent rains and took out the rally. The ex-employees said that they had reported just 20 days before the government issued retrenchment order alleging gross irregularities in recruitment process.

Close on the heels of the orders, the hospital authorities cancelled their appointment and served them relieving orders. They have been on indefinite strike since August 27 and decided to continue their stir till the government revokes its order.
