Motamma demands probe into people's deaths due to spurious drugs

Speaking to the media persons at her residence here on Monday, Motamma urged the Chief Minister to own moral responsibility of the incident.

“The Chief Minister was away from the Vidhana Soudha for months and was busy campaigning in Gulbarga and Kadur polls till recently. Now CM he has settled in New Delhi citing reason of cabinet expansion. He has failed to take care of the people,” she said.

She criticised the state government for playing dirty politics, thereby creating  a drift between people of different castes. She said that various state departments including the health department are not functioning properly. “There is lack of medicine supply in the state. All the government departments were prone to one or the other scams and voice of the poor is going unheard,” she said. Taluk Panchayat member Uggi Halli Rudraih, District Secretary Raghu and others were present.
