Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu took to Twitter on Monday to wish his followers on the occasion on International Women's Day. The mass hero shared a collage featuring his mother, wife actor Namrata Shirodkar and daughter Sitara and asked women to 'rise above all'.
Mahesh played his first adult role in the K Raghavendra Rao-directed movie Raja Kumarudu, which released in 1996. He subsequently consolidated his standing in the industry with films such as Athadu, Okkadu, Pokiri and The Businessman. He received praise for his work in 1 even though the film proved to be a commercial failure.
'Prince' tied the knot with actor Namrata Shirodkar in 2005 after dating her for a short while.
He considers her to be a pillar of support and occasionally gives fans a glimpse of their personal life. Mahesh and Namrata were blessed with a son in 2006 Their daughter Sitara was born a few years later. Mahesh is a family man and loves spending time with his loved ones during vacations.
The Spyder hero, meanwhile, is going through a good phase on the work front. The star was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, which emerged as a hit despite clashing with the Allu Arjun-starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The Anil Ravipudi-helmed film featured Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady and marked her first collaboration with the 'Super Star'.
Mahesh will next be seen in the commercial entertainer Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which reportedly touches upon the issue of bank fraud. It stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead and is slated to hit the screens next year. Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been directed by Parasuram and may prove to be a gamechanger for the Geetha Govindam helmer.
Mahesh is also expected to collaborate with SS Rajamouli after the ace filmmaker wraps up the shoot of his upcoming movie Rise Roar Revolt (RRR), featuring Jr NTR and 'Mega Power Star' Ram Charan as the parallel leads.
