<p>Bengaluru: A 24-year-old IndiGo customer service executive died after the office cab she was travelling in crashed into the rear of a parked bus on the international airport road in the early hours of Monday, police said.</p><p>Sneha I, a native of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital. The cab driver, Vinay, 28, and a fellow IndiGo employee, Kausar Khanum, 21, sustained injuries, but are said to be out of danger.</p><p>The Chikkajala traffic police said the accident occurred between 4.30 am and 4.45 am near the ITC Factory, while the cab was en route to the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).</p>.Indigo flight lands under full emergency conditions in Mumbai due to bomb threat.<p>Sneha and Khanum were picked up from their designated point in Dwarka Nagar near Bagalur Main Road. Vinay was their regular cab driver, a police officer said.</p><p>“Seeing the signal turn red, Vinay reportedly took the service road and was speeding towards the airport. Vinay did not notice a private bus that was parked on the side to pick up employees of a company in Doddaballapur, leading to the crash,” the officer added.</p><p>The front portion of the cab was completely crushed.</p><p>Sneha and Vinay sustained head injuries, while Khanum suffered minor injuries.</p><p>They were rushed to a private hospital in Hebbal via a toll ambulance. Sneha died around 7.40 am.</p><p>The police have registered a case against both the bus driver — for illegal parking on the service road — and Vinay for rash and negligent driving.</p><p>An investigation is underway, and medical reports are awaited to determine whether Vinay was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.</p>
