The overbridge is, however, unaffected.</p><p>Kootuhole stream, which is the source of drinking water for Madikeri, is also full.</p><p><strong>Trees are uprooted by strong winds.</strong></p><p>Vehicular movement was disrupted on Suntikoppa-Madikeri, Kushalnagar-Somwarpet, Valnuru-Chettalli, Siddapura-Guhya, Siddapura-Arekadu and Shanivarasanthe-Kibbetta road due to tree falls.</p><p>A house belonging to a woman called Saramma in Karmadu village was damaged after a tree fell on the roof.</p><p><strong>Fear of floods</strong></p><p>Overflowing streams and rivers have created fear of floods in Kodagu district.</p><p>The lower bridge in Balamuri in Madikeri taluk is inundated. The movement of traffic is uninterrupted as another bridge is being used. However, there has been a significant rise in the level of River Cauvery.</p><p>Mallalli falls in Somwarpet taluk is in splendour as more water is flowing into the falls. Tourists have been thronging the spot to capture the view.</p>
