Participate in camps, develop skills

Children can develop skills in life through participating in creative activities at summer camps, said K V Suresh, principal of Basavanahalli Morarji Desai Model Residential School.

Speaking after inaugurating the ‘Chinnara Besige Shibira,’ a summer camp, organised by the Prajapitha Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya here on Friday, Suresh said that such summer camps instills moral values in children and leads them to be better citizens. Organisers of summer camps should always put effort to instil positive thinking and develop good habits in children, he added.

Camp convenor B K Jayanthi said that the children are taught creative activities as well as meditation and other spiritual education to develop them personally in the camp.
