Fog at Kochi airport disrupts flight schedules

An Air India Mumbai-Kochi-Kozhikode-Riyad flight and an Air Arabia flight from Sharjah, which were to reach here early this morning, were diverted to Kozhikode, airport sources said.
The Air Arabia flight later returned to Kochi, they said.

An Emirates Fight scheduled to reach here at 3.20 am from Dubai was diverted to Thiruvananthapuram and later returned to Kochi at 7.20 am, the sources said.

Etihad Airlines Flight from Abu Dhabi, scheduled to reach here at 3.25 am, was diverted to the state capital, while a Gulf Air flight from Bahrain was diverted to Chennai, they said.
The Gulf Air flight later arrived here and will be returning to Bahrain late in the evening, the sources added.
