Kerala docs examine health report of Madani

A team of five senior doctors appointed by the Kerala government is examining a medical report on People’s Democratic Party leader Abdul Nassar Madani.

The report was recently sent by Karnataka to the Kerala government. Madani, an accused in a Bangalore serial blast case, is lodged at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bangalore. He is an acute diabetic. He also suffers from poor eyesight. His one leg had been amputated below the knee.

He was once kept in a Coimbatore jail for over ten years in connection with a blast in the city.  Later, he was acquitted by the court of all charges.
