Pak terror outfit telecast message in Hubballi: Joshi

Dharwad MP Pralhad Joshi claimed that a banned Pakistan terror outfit was allowed to have a live stream of its message in Hubballi recently.

Addressing a protest rally against the Kerala government for allowing women to enter the Sabarimala temple, here on Monday, Joshi said that Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate officials were mute spectators to the live streaming, which took place few days ago, as they had received orders from the coalition government.

Quoting a report, which appeared in an electronic media, Joshi said terrorists were allowed to propagate their message and the State government has not acted against them. “How low will the Coalition government go to appease one community. For the sake of votes will the JD(S)-Congress government allow even the terrorists to campaign in Karnataka,” he said and asked the State Home Minister to reply to the charges.

He also said that police is not being allowed to take action against the thinkers and writers who said that Hindus who consume ‘Goumutra’ should also drinking pig’s urine as Pig is also one of the avatras of Lord Vishnu. Another thinker had said that India army personnels are rapists. Joshi demanded that police officials should file a suo-moto case against these officials and organisers of Dharwad Sahitya Sambhrama for allowing such statements to be made.

Speaking to DH, Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner M N Nagaraj said that they have not received any complaints of any anti-national activities or video being played in Hubballi.

The organisers of Dawat-E-Islamiya Hind, where the alleged terror video is said to have been played, had sought permission for State government after the Telangana government denied them permission to conduct the programme in Hyderabad. DH can not authenticate if such a video was played in the programme as our female reporter was not allowed to cover the event, which was meant for women.
